The late 1960's was a great era for cars.   The

muscle car ruled the street.  With cars coming

with a stock horsepower of well over 300, they

were unbeatable by any normal car.  These gas

guzzling machines could easily run a 13.00 1/4

stock or with very few adjustments made to

the cars.  These four cars I picked are just a

a few of a great line of muscle cars that were

born in the 60's.  I picked this topic because it

interests me how these great cars have died due

to new cars that come stock with half the

horsepower of the old muscle cars, but can

still manage to beat one in a race.  I admire

these cars for their great looks and awesome

power, but I am saddened by cars today

that are way faster, but do not even compare

in my eyes to the old muscle cars of the 1960's.
